Running this yourself — the CORS / proxy note

The Hypixel player & profile API doesn't send CORS headers, so browsers block direct fetches from a static page. The Bazaar endpoint (used for the ticker and net worth pricing) does allow it, which is why that part works with no setup.

To make player lookups work, route requests through a one-line proxy. Cheapest option is a Cloudflare Worker:
